Week 14 sees the Seahawks travel to Green Bay in a huge clash with playoff outcomes. A win for Seattle plus a defeat or tie for Arizona will ensure a play-off berth for Seattle whereas Green Bay, who are still in the play-off hunt for the wildcard, must win their remaining games.
Week 13 saw Seattle defeat the Carolina in convincing fashion. Thomas Rawls rushed for 2 TD’s in his best performance since coming back from injury, but the victory was overshadowed by the devastating news that All-Pro Free Safety Earl Thomas is ruled out for the remainder of the season after suffering a broken leg.
This week saw the Seahawks announce the signings of Pro Bowl FB Marcel Reece and former Seahawks safety Jeron Johnson to cover for the injured Thomas and Will Tukuafu who is in the concussion protocol.
Meanwhile the Packers are coming off a victory against the Houston Texans in a game which was covered with snow. After coming off from three successive defeats, the Packers have won their last two games and will look to continue that when they face Seattle.
Aaron Rodgers, who is nursing a hamstring injury, is expected to be fit for the game. LB Clay Matthews is also listed as DNP with a shoulder injury on the injury report for the Packers. Nick Perry is also out for the match on Sunday after suffering a hand injury. Perry leads the team in sacks with eight.
